                                        Equa Reef Maldives
An island style lodge, a home with the charm of a Maldivian village by the turquoise sea, simple and pure in design, yet with excellent facilities that offers great value for money.

Equa Reef is a brand guesthouse situated in a peaceful location in Feydhoo just 5 minutes from Gan International Airport. We have large luxuriously built AC Rooms with Hot and Cold shower, free Wi-Fi access, cable TV, minibar and recreational facilities. Additional facilities include a well-maintained kitchen which can be used by the guests who like to cook their own food and laundry facilities with fully automatic washing machine.

About Addu Atoll
Addu, the Heart-shaped Atoll, lies in the southernmost tip of the Maldives and is home to some of the most diverse natural habitats in the country. With its large islands, unique geography, flourishing population and long history and culture, Addu stands out as a destination that seamlessly marries nature with development. Addu represents a community evolved to embrace the future with imagination and pride.

Diving
Addu Atoll is internationally famous for its wreck dives, large manta rays, tiger sharks,sharks, turtles and bigger fish in general, all throughout the year, as opposed to an abundance of smaller reef fish. It is also known for its brilliant coral patches in the north and broad barrier reefs with several islands on the east and west. There are a total of four kandus in this atoll, Gan Kandu, Viligili Kandu, Maa Kandu and Kuda Kandu. There are a few caves studded around the region, however relatively few in comparison with the other atolls in the Maldives. Currents are not as forceful as in other parts of the Maldives, so it is a great dive location for novice and experienced scuba divers looking for a thrilling dive excursion. The channels can be navigated with relative ease, with the average depth within the atoll at 35 meters, and a maximum depth of 75 meters in the center. We offers beautiful reefs for snorkeling with its warm waters which are safe for people of all ages. The reefs have a unique coral formation and abundant marine life. The reefs are easily accessible. The clear waters and the perfect temperatures make the snorkeling experience absolutely wonderful. Notable areas for snorkeling are Koattey, Koahera, Kandihera and Hulhumeedhoo reef among others. Turtles, napoleon wrasse and hundreds of other fish are commonly seen within the reefs. 

Water Sports 
We provide certain water sports activities. Jet skis, water skiing, windsurfing, parasailing, wake board, paragliding, canoeing are common activities. 

Fishing 
Maldives has always been a fishing nation, for centuries Maldivians have been out to sea and fisheries is the lifeblood. Even today, fisherman in Addu goes out fishing every single day, mostly catching Tuna, for export and local consumption. Sports’ fishing is also available in the hotel and visitors who wish can join local fisherman for a traditional Maldivian fishing experience. The main types of fish caught are,skipjack Tuna,Yellowfin Tuna,Wahoo,Sailfish, Mahi Mahi,Giant Travelers,Snappers,Groupers,barracudas etc. 

Bicycle Tour
Explore the Maldivian culture at Addu City by going on a tour of the islands of Feydhoo, Maradhoo and Gan on a bike. Ride around with your guides of Equa Reef Maldives who will show you historical mosques, schools, local Island offices, tuna landing sites, coral stone houses, etc. See how the life of Maldives changed over the years at Addu City. Visit the local “hat shop” stalls on the roadside for some refreshments and the souvenir shops at Gan for a token of your memorable experience.

Transfer Note
This Packages are not included the International Air Transfer and the Inter Atoll domestic Transfer charges. The only transfer we include from Gan International Airport to Hotel.   Srilankan Airlines is a direct flight to Gan International Airport. Weekly 4 flights to Gan Airport via Colombo to Gan. Guest book by Srilankan Airlines the fare will be cheaper and no needs to take another inter atoll domestic transfer to the hotel.
